The "dumbed down" editor strikes again!

Oh boy.  I hate doing the newsletter!

As I was putting together the newsletter last month, I put in a note that garbage collection was delayed one day this week.  I worried about that - so I called the garbage company and asked if it would be collected a day late because of the 24th.  The nice young lady told me yes - and I told her that I wanted to make sure I had it right in the newsletter.

Fast forward to yesterday morning at 8:15.  I overhear a comment about it being normal garbage collection day.  My heart stopped.  I checked the newsletter to see what I had written.  Yep.  I put in there that it was delayed one day.  OH CRAP!  OH CRAP!  OH CRAP!  Who is going to get yelled at?  Not Allied Waste, I can tell you that.

Now, I am anxiously awaiting a phone call from the Manager to see what they will do.  Okay, so I'm going to have to demand that they work with us since it wasn't my mistake (not that there is proof that I got wrong information - I don't know who I talked to). What fun!
