Ster kept saying he was sorry for putting in that lego and that he wouldn't do it again. Of course, then I felt bad for yelling WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU DO THAT????
The first picture shows the imprint of the lego on his arm. Guess it was a good thing we replaced the cast, huh! You can't really tell, but it was really really red and puffed up around where the lego had been. The second picture is of his cast with the screwdriver through it. We tried and tried to get the dang lego out with a screwdriver (I very carefully used it - I am a nervous nelly and was scared of hurting him more), a spoon, needle-nose pliers, a ruler, and then a hanger. I had to take a break to get a picture of it =)

Hahaha! I know I shouldn't be laughing, but haha haha!
ReplyDeleteOh my! It sounds just like something Hannah might do. 8-year-olds -- just when you think they're old enough to know better... =) I'm glad he ended up getting that cast off, at least. Who knows what that spot would have looked like with a few more days! {Great pics for 'remember whens'.} ;)
